CaseCoach Review (2026): Is It Worth It at 172 Euros a Year?
An independent CaseCoach review: what the 43 euro per month toolkit contains, how the coaching rates compare, where the Practice Room helps, and who it fits.
On this page
CaseCoach costs 43 euros per month or 172 euros per year, which works out at about 14 euros a month, and is the strongest value among the paid course platforms. A 10-day free trial covers the popular classes. The toolkit carries roughly 9.5 hours of structured video across four courses, a 19-class case interview course at 4h10, a 21-class case math course at 3h52, a 7-class fit course at 1h07 and a 3-class McKinsey PEI course, plus 20 or more filmed sample interviews, 100 or more downloadable cases with solutions, drills across six skill areas, and unlimited peer mock interviews in the Practice Room. Coaching is separate, from 133 euros per hour and about 124 euros across a five-session package. Founded by a 12-year McKinsey interviewer; used by 10 of the top-20 MBA programmes. CaseCoach displays a 4.8 rating across 8,024 toolkit reviews and 5.0 across 7,690 coaching reviews, both collected and hosted on its own site rather than a third-party platform, and states use across 90 or more universities in 20 countries.
CaseCoach teaches through video and then hands you to a peer for practice. Skip ahead to the practice: this is an estimation rep, graded on the reasoning rather than checked against a stored answer.
Size a market and get the logic graded from the Road to Offer drill engine. Start with two guided choices and explanations, then answer the same skill in your own words for AI-scored feedback. Free accounts include daily drills.
CaseCoach teaches estimation and case math properly, with nearly four hours devoted to the quantitative half alone, and that is the right thing to spend a curriculum on. What its Practice Room cannot settle is whether your reasoning actually fitted the client's decision, because the person opposite you is learning the same skill at the same time and is working from the same model answer. Peer feedback is excellent on delivery and pacing and unreliable on judgement. A rubric is the other way round, which is why most candidates need both. Run a full scored case and compare:

Is CaseCoach legit?
Yes, and the institutional evidence is unusually strong for this category.
- Founded by Enguerran Loos, who states 12 years as a McKinsey interviewer and as a headhunter for the top-3 firms.
- Used by 10 of the top-20 MBA programmes and more than 90 other universities in 20 countries, according to the company. University procurement is a meaningfully higher bar than a consumer checkout.
- A 10-day free trial covering the most popular classes and practice tools.
- Coaches are recruited and trained in a stated in-house methodology rather than assembled ad hoc.
CaseCoach displays a 4.8 rating from 8,024 reviews on its toolkit and 5.0 from 7,690 on coaching. Those are collected and hosted by CaseCoach itself rather than a third party, which is normal practice and worth noting when you weigh them.

What is in the CaseCoach Interview Prep Toolkit?
About 9.5 hours of structured video across four courses, 20-plus filmed sample interviews, 100-plus downloadable cases, drills across six skills, and unlimited peer mocks in the Practice Room.
The Case Math course at nearly four hours is the standout piece of content. Case math is the most teachable skill in the interview and the one most often left to raw drilling elsewhere. Our own mental math guide covers the same ground in written form if you want to compare approaches before subscribing.
How much does CaseCoach cost in 2026?
43 euros per month or 172 euros per year, with a 10-day free trial; coaching is separate from 133 euros per hour.
At the annual rates these two are close: roughly 172 euros against $249. What separates them is not price, it is what the money is for. CaseCoach sells teaching and a room full of peers; the annual difference buys marking on every rep you run afterwards.

One detail to read carefully: the monthly plan cancels anytime, while the annual plan is described as a one-time payment with a 24-hour cancellation window. If you are unsure how long your recruiting will run, the monthly plan carries less commitment risk even though it costs three times as much over a year.
How does CaseCoach compare with the rest of the field?
CaseCoach is the best-value paid subscription here, and the interesting comparison is what a curriculum buys you against what grading buys you. The field below shows every option on the two axes that separate them: price, and where feedback originates.
The distinction the table draws out: teaching and grading are different purchases, and most platforms sell only one. CaseCoach sells excellent teaching for very little and routes the grading to a peer or a paid coach. That is a coherent product, and it sets a ceiling.
What is CaseCoach best at?
Teaching quality per euro
Nine and a half hours of structured video from a former interviewer, priced under 15 euros a month on the annual plan, is the best content-to-price ratio in mainstream case prep, and it covers the ground our own case interview prep guide treats in writing. Nothing else in the category is close on that specific measure.
The Practice Room
Unlimited peer mocks with tracking sits inside the same subscription rather than being a separate product. That matters because live practice is the input candidates most often fail to arrange, and the friction of finding partners is usually why. See our guide to practising case interviews alone for what to do on the days you cannot find one.
PEI coverage as its own course
McKinsey's Personal Experience Interview is graded on different criteria from a general fit interview, and CaseCoach treats it separately. Half an hour is short, but most competitors give it nothing. Pair it with our McKinsey PEI guide for the story structures.
Coaching priced in the middle of the market
133 euros an hour sits well below the effective hourly rate inside the largest bundled programmes, and unused sessions being refundable on request removes most of the risk of buying a package.
What does a former McKinsey interviewer teach differently?
The tell is what the courses spend their minutes on.
CaseCoach was built by Enguerran Loos, who states 12 years interviewing for McKinsey and headhunting for the top three firms. The catalog reflects someone who has sat on the scoring side rather than the candidate side: 21 classes and 3h52 on case math, against 19 classes and 4h10 on the entire case interview.
That ratio is unusual. Most curricula treat math as a sub-skill of casing and give it a fraction of the time. Someone who has graded a lot of candidates knows that quantitative fumbles are what actually end interviews, that they are the most teachable failure in the whole process, and that they compound: a candidate who is slow on numbers spends attention on arithmetic that should be going on the problem.
The 20-plus filmed sample interviews point the same way. They exist because an interviewer knows candidates cannot picture the standard they are being held to, and that describing it does not fix that.
Where this shows up as a limit is the Practice Room. It hands the assessment back to a peer, and the founder's own advantage, knowing what a passing answer looks like from the other side of the table, is exactly what a peer cannot supply.
Where does CaseCoach fall short?
The platform never grades you
Every piece of practice inside the toolkit is either self-checked against a solution or judged by a peer. Peer feedback is valuable for delivery and pacing, and it is unreliable on the thing that decides interviews: whether your structure was MECE and pointed at the client's actual decision. Two candidates at the same level cannot correct each other on that. A scored rep can:
Get one structure scored, not peer-reviewed from the Road to Offer drill engine. Answer a real prompt and get AI-scored feedback. Free accounts include daily drills.
The case library is downloads
More than 100 cases with model solutions is a good library, and it is reading material. You still need a partner or a simulator to turn a PDF into a rehearsal, the same limit that applies to any case book or free case-book vault.
Ratings are self-hosted
Eight thousand reviews at 4.8 is a strong number and it lives on CaseCoach's own site. That is standard and it is not the same as an independent review platform.
Little assessment simulation
If your bottleneck is a McKinsey Solve or BCG online screen rather than the interview, CaseCoach is not built for that. Look at assessment simulators instead.
Who should buy CaseCoach?
Buy it if you want to be taught properly from scratch, especially on case math, and if you cannot reliably find practice partners.
What are the best CaseCoach alternatives?
PrepLounge if partners are the bottleneck, a graded platform if calibration is.
What Road to Offer is, exactly
Road to Offer is a full consulting interview prep platform powered by AI, not a single case grader. It carries 57 active practice cases run by voice or guided text and scored on a seven-dimension rubric, a 600+ drill bank across 6 skill types plus timed Quick Math, two online assessment simulators (a BCG Casey-style simulator with 10 original cases, first two questions free with no account, and a CCA-style simulator), behavioral and McKinsey PEI practice, step-by-step Learning Mode lessons, a free consulting resume grader, an application tracker, and a free case book vault.
The free tier includes 1 full AI-graded case, daily drill practice across the 600+ bank, and a free resume review, with no card required. Signing up grants 1 case credit, so that first full case runs in Voice Mode for free. Paid entry starts at a $20 one-time Starter bundle (5 case credits); Pro is $49/month or $249/year. Road to Offer is AI-only: no human coaching, no hourly coaching rates, and no peer-matching marketplace. The trade is instant scored feedback on every rep instead of scheduling a partner.
CaseCoach is the best teacher in this cluster and it hands the grading to a peer or a paid coach. Road to Offer does the grading itself, and covers the parts a curriculum does not reach: full scored cases, the MBB screen simulators, behavioural and PEI rehearsal, a resume grader and a tracker, all consulting-only. The natural combination is CaseCoach for teaching and peer mocks, plus a graded platform for the reps in between. Watch a class, do a scored rep on the skill it just taught, then take the same skill into a peer mock to rehearse delivering it out loud. That loop closes the gap that either product has on its own.
If you are choosing between the two big peer-practice platforms, we compared CaseCoach and PrepLounge directly. For the full field, see our roundup of consulting interview prep platforms.
How far does the CaseCoach free trial get you?
CaseCoach's free guide and 10-day trial cover most of what the subscription teaches. Use them to test the teaching style against your own.
Do the thing the course just taught
A class tells you what a good structure looks like. Run one scored case and find out whether yours holds under time, which is the gap between recognising good work and producing it.
Their free window is ten days and then it closes. Ours has no clock on it.
- One case run in full and marked on seven dimensions, with no trial clock
- Free daily drills across the six skill types
- Timed Quick Math, the free counterpart to their case math course
- The BCG Casey simulator opener, two questions, no signup
- A free consulting resume grader
- The free case book vault
Watch a class on their trial, then run the same skill scored here. Two evenings, no money, and you will know which one you actually need.
Verdict: is CaseCoach worth 172 euros a year?
CaseCoach is the easiest recommendation in this cluster on price alone, and it earns it on teaching quality rather than volume. Take the trial, buy the annual plan if your recruiting will run more than four months, and be clear-eyed that a subscription which never grades you leaves the hardest part of prep to you and your practice partner.
