Most of the price difference across this table is the cost of human coaching. Management Consulted's hourly coaching is priced for former MBB consultants; the subscription platforms sell practice and feedback of other kinds: a set answer, a peer, or AI grading of your own answer.

Is the 80% offer rate believable?

Management Consulted states the figure three ways on its own pages: about 80% of Black Belts land at least one offer; 80% of premium coaching clients receive offers; and 80% of clients who complete 8+ hours of coaching receive at least one offer. It also says more than 15,000 candidates have used Black Belt. The company may well have measured this. What a reader cannot see is:

• The method. Whether the figure counts everyone who paid, or those who completed the programme and responded to a follow-up.
• The firm definition. An offer from any consulting firm is a different result from an MBB offer.
• Selection effect. Candidates who spend $2,250 on prep before they have an offer are, on average, more motivated and better resourced than the general applicant pool, so a high offer rate is expected before counting anything the programme does.

None of this makes the claim dishonest, and none of it means the programme does not work. It means the number cannot tell you how much of the result the programme produced. Judge it instead on what you are certainly getting: ten coaching hours and a library.

A former MBB consultant running a case at you, pushing back mid-structure, and then telling you exactly how you sounded is a different input from a scored rep. If you have practised a lot and still cannot tell why you are being rejected in the final round, that diagnosis is worth paying for.

Management Consulted is a real company selling a real product, and Black Belt is a reasonable purchase at $2,250 when ten hours of 1:1 coaching with former MBB consultants is what stands between you and an offer, and you also want its library. Priced against its own separate products it costs less than the parts. If you mainly need reps, the $700 All Access Pass or a practice platform covers that; if you mainly need a coach, hours are sold on their own.
