This answer demonstrates the People, Process, Technology lens, shows operational specificity (EHR, clinical staff, data migration), and scopes the problem before jumping to solutions.
Common Mistakes in West Monroe Interviews
1. Using MBB-style frameworks on operational cases. Opening a technology implementation case with "I'll look at market, customers, and competitors" is the wrong frame for a People, Process, Technology problem.
2. Underestimating the skills interview. This is not a standard behavioral round. Research the technical or domain specifics of your target practice area and be prepared to discuss them in depth.
3. Being too academic. West Monroe hires practitioners who can roll up their sleeves. Stories where you delegated the technical work rather than engaging with it are less compelling than stories where you learned, adapted, and drove hands-on outcomes.
