Road to Offer (roadtooffer.com) is an online case interview prep platform for consulting candidates. You practice 92 McKinsey, BCG and Bain-style cases with an AI interviewer, get a debrief scored on 7 skills after every case, train weak spots with 550+ drills, and rehearse 8 online assessment formats. It was founded by Esteban Ronsin and is independent: it is not affiliated with McKinsey, BCG or Bain.
A mock consulting case run by an AI interviewer instead of a person. You answer out loud or in writing, the interviewer follows up and shares exhibits, and you get a score when you finish. You need no partner and no scheduling. Road to Offer has 92 McKinsey, BCG and Bain-style cases to run this way.
You pick a case and a mode. The interviewer reads the prompt, then asks one question per step: restate the problem, ask clarifying questions, lay out your structure, work the analysis and math on the exhibits, and give a recommendation. In Voice Mode you speak and it answers out loud; in Guided Mode you type each step. The debrief scores 7 skills: Problem Understanding, Structure & MECE, Quantitative Accuracy, Business Judgment, Exhibits Interpretation, Communication and Synthesis & Recommendation.
Three places, each good for something different. An AI case interview simulator such as Road to Offer gives you scored reps on your own schedule, across 92 cases. A peer partner over video gives you a live human reaction. McKinsey, BCG and Bain each publish sample cases on their careers sites, which show their own format.
For drills, often yes; for a full mock, not reliably. ChatGPT can quiz you on market sizing or critique a structure you paste in. In a full case it invents facts as it goes, so the numbers can drift and nothing checks your math against a fixed answer. A case interview simulator runs one written case with its exhibits and grades each step against that case's answer key.
Yes. Road to Offer is an independent prep platform founded by Esteban Ronsin, who worked at Deloitte and in strategy consulting at Accenture. Payments run through Stripe, subscriptions cancel in Settings, and your first full case with its scored debrief is free with no card, so you can judge the feedback before you pay.
You can start free: a full first case with a scored debrief, free graded drills and free consulting case books, with no card needed. Unlimited cases, drills and voice practice are part of the paid plans.
Monthly is $49 a month, the 90-Day Sprint is $120 once, and Annual is $249 a year. Every plan includes unlimited cases, drills, voice practice and Coach chat.
Yes. Road to Offer has 8 online assessment formats: McKinsey Solve (Sustainable Futures Lab (Classic), Sustainable Futures Lab (Island), Sea Wolf and Red Rock), Bain SOVA, BCG CCA, BCG Casey and Bain TestGorilla-style practice. Each one follows the format of the real test.
For most reps, yes. A private coach is still useful for final polish, but Road to Offer gives you the volume a human coach cannot: unlimited cases, drills, voice practice, Coach chat, and instant debriefs. Use it to do the dozens of repetitions that would cost hundreds or thousands with live coaching.
Choose Monthly Pro if you only need a few cases and want to cancel when you are done. Choose the 90-Day Sprint at $120 if you are recruiting this season, or Annual Pro at $249 if you are preparing across cycles or over a longer horizon.
One live coaching hour often costs more than a month of Road to Offer. The bigger issue is volume: you need repeated practice on structure, math, exhibits, synthesis, and communication. Road to Offer is built for that daily loop. A coach can review your strategy; this gives you the reps.
You are not on your own. Debriefs show what broke down, drills target the weak skill, and Coach chat can turn your latest feedback into the next rep. The point is not just more practice. It is a tighter loop from attempt, to feedback, to the next best exercise.
Yes. Monthly, 90-Day Sprint, and Annual include unlimited full cases, unlimited drills, unlimited Coach chat, voice mode, AI debriefs, free resources, and learning mode.
Yes. Monthly is the flexible option. You can manage billing in Settings through Stripe. If you want the lowest commitment with full access for recruiting season, choose the 90-Day Sprint instead of annual.
The pricing is designed around recruiting ROI. A consulting offer can change your first-year income by six figures, but prep should not require paying live-coach rates for every rep. Unlimited plans keep the marginal cost of practice near zero.
Yes. Road to Offer keeps your practice history, scores, debriefs, and Coach context so recommendations can reflect what you have already done. You can edit your Coach context from Settings.

Pick a case and a mode. In Voice Mode you speak and the interviewer answers out loud (82 of the 92 cases). In Guided Mode you type each answer one step at a time, which helps if you freeze on a blank page (all 92 cases). No partner and no scheduling.
The interviewer asks one question per step, pushes back on weak logic and hands you exhibits when the case calls for them. The full debrief scores 7 skills, quotes your answers and gives the fix for each gap.
