McKinsey operates a campus-specific recruiting calendar through Handshake. If you attend a target school (Harvard, Wharton, Booth, Stanford, etc.), your campus deadline may be 2–4 weeks earlier than the national deadline. Check with your career center.

For non-target schools, McKinsey accepts applications through its general careers portal and screens via resume, cover letter, and the McKinsey Problem Solving Game (for some roles). The Problem Solving Game is typically assigned after your application is under review, not before.

Boston Consulting Group (BCG)

UK/Europe: Deadlines are often earlier — September/October for undergrad full-time at MBB UK offices, with some firms like Roland Berger running spring cycles for European offices.

Asia-Pacific: McKinsey, BCG, and Bain offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo typically recruit earlier (June–August) due to different graduation cycles. Some offices hold separate rolling pools.
